Poppy heeft een erg lief karakter, doet altijd haar best en wilt altijd met je spelen, zoals elke flatcoat. Ze werkt graag hard op de training, vooral als ze dummies uit het water moet halen. Ze is een snelle leerling, en zet zich altijd 100% in. We hebben  het jachtdiploma C gehaald en zijn op dit moment aan het trainen voor diploma B. Thuis is Poppy een rustige en tevreden hond.  Ze heeft een zacht karakter,  is zelfstandig en vindt het helemaal niet erg om een paar uur alleen te zijn in de tuin. Ze kan goed omgaan met andere honden, en luistert goed. Kortom, Poppy is een gezellige hond voor thuis, maar kan ook hard werken als het nodig is.

Poppy has an extremely kind temperament, always wanting to please, and (as with all flatcoats!) is always ready to play!

She thoroughly enjoys her working dog training, especially retrieving a bumper out of the water. She is a very fast learner, and extremely  quick off the mark. We are now actively working towards our next working dog test having achieved the C certificate in gundog training.

At home she is very contented and sweet natured. Very independant and happy to spend time out in the garden on her own.

She gets on extremely well with all dogs, is very obedient and well trained. 

Poppy is a balanced combination of a family dog with good working dog qualities.
