Night number 4 was the best so far. The pups woke and wriggled around 2 or 3 times around the early hours, but after that all was quiet until around 8 am - pure luxury!
We noticed this morning that their ears, which have been pinned back against their heads, are now starting to hang down, just like an adult flat coat! Amazing how this suddenly happens. For the rest, we had a relatively quiet Sunday - Poppy in and out of the box, happy to be in there to feed but equally happy to have a 'time out' session on the kitchen floor, away from her babies! Anything for a bit of peice and quiet - don't blame her!
The weighing session proved positive again - with all pups gaining a minimum of 60 grams within the last 24 hours, really great! The orange male is still the heaviest - now gained 230g since birth, half his birth weight - unreal! The dark blue male follows close behind, and then the red ribboned girl comes in third.
We have decided to give the pups names using the theme Kings and Queens. So each colour will relate to a King or a Queen, with prefix : Flower Tail Fairy.
