Friday 27th April Kings Day text

What a day it has been, Kings Day in Holland.

The celebration of King William of Orange marked another high on the thrilling journey of life these pups are having.

Every royal canine attended to the party, including mother Poppy herself. The day started as usual, nothing out of the ordinary. After a break-suck-fast that lasted longer than a striking 17 minutes, the monarchists were fully full.

What followed was a Crown-like fanfare through their noble box. William of Orange, birthday boy as he was, did his duty and led the parade in a manner worthy of his blood.

In the afternoon they eventually started singing the national anthem, all on key and still following protocol. The singing (honestly) sounded more like a mixture between barking and squeaking, yet the mood was not lacking.

The royal banquet marked the ending of a great day full of festivities. It was a pleasure to see all the tiny doggies truly enjoying themselves, fully immersed by the flowing of foods into their tummies.

Whilst wholly nourished, they slowly wagged their tails and quickly fell asleep.

What a day it has been, cheers to the Royal pups on Kings Day!
