Day 2 and all is well. Pops (and me!) had a reasonable night. The pups are all feeding well and Poppy is eating for England! She has a meal about every 2 to 3 hours, feeding 8 pups is no mean feat. But none of the pups have lost weight, which can be the case in the first 24hrs of their lives.
Poppy seems to have her motherhood sorted, and manages to find time to have a roll in the grass, or relax for a few minutes outside her crib, just to have a bit of a breather before one of her cheeky monkeys squeaks and requires attention, then she's back in there like a shot. A dedicated mummy.
