Today the pups are a week old, unbelievable. I can see them all trying to use their legs more, lifting themselves up off the ground slightly instead of only shuffling on their tummies. The chattering can be heard more and more, I even heard it upstairs this morning! Poppy is still a very adept Mummy, she goes to them when she hears a little sign, but only stays with them if she thinks its important, otherwise she returns to her favourite place on the kitchen floor, as near as possible to whatever I'm doing!
The pups are now at least one and a half times their original birth weight, and this weekend definitely a few of them will double their weight. Empress Sisi is still in the lead, as she was from birth!
