The pups tasted puppy milk and 'pap', a sort of mush made out of puppy meal and water for the first time today, and it went down like a treat - not all of them took to it immediately, but Louis and Sisi lapped up the milk, and Alexander too. They were fed from a tray, first 4 of them and then the next lot.
Poppy sat next to the pen longing to go in and help them out, and was delighted when she was allowed to go in and polish off the remains. They were completely knocked out when they were put back in their crib, and proceeded to sleep for 3 hours, not a squeak was to be heard. A perfect recipe!
