Second day of solids, and boy do they love it! I must say, Poppy sits next to the pen, feeling a bit redundant until she's allowed to go in and finish off the crumbs....and she's so intent on gobbling up the remains, that she doesn't seem to mind all 8 pups attacking her, all standing on their hind legs, trying to get their desert - full cream milk from mummy!
Needless to say, the pups have all put a considerable number of grams in the last 24 hours - the lightest weighs 1.5 kilos, the heaviest 1.7 kilos, so they are all quite close together.
There're spending more time playing with each other now, and react to my voice - it's wonderful!
